Greeting from the MGEI Chairman
Dear Distinguished Colleagues,
The 13th MGEI Annual Convention is titled: "Accelerating Perpetual Endeavour towards Sustainable Mineral & Coal Resources: The Future Starts Today!"
This title is taken as a representation of MGEI's awareness as one of the driving forces for the advancement of (geo)science for discovery in Indonesia in order to support the realization of a much better world of economic geology and the national mining industry.
Exploration activities for discovery, mineral inventory, ore conservation, mining and processing in the mining industry cycle have entered an era and will continue to evolve accordingly,

Invitation from the Chairman of Convention
In the recent year we were forced not to be able to meet in person due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Certainly, online meeting and workshop, or virtual fieldwork will not substitute participation in the conferences, coffee talks, or hammering rocks in front of the outcrop.
The 13th MGEI Annual Convention 2021 committees have a strong commitment to brings current situation, innovation, main issues, and fruitful discussions about economic geology topic , as well as the technical applications, artificial intelligence that led us to the discovery of economic and sustainable resources into participant’s living room or working table.
